My Lifestyle Transition from Me vs. Me

My name is Pauline and am a proud mom of six amazing children, and six grandchildren.  Over the years, I have played the juggling game of motherhood, career chaser, full time student drowning in student loan debt, all whilst living a healthy lifestyle and maintaining my perfect physique. Until now, I felt like I had it all under control.  I was wrong...  

I honestly thought I had the perfect work/life balance... I was failing miserably. My children were growing up to be successful individuals on their own, I successfully graduated from a university (twice), and have the most rewarding career.  I absolutely love what I do but it definitely isn't the job of my dreams, we will get to that story later, but sincerely, I am living my best dream life.  

Then, something had to give, and of course, it was my health. My post divorce figure had gotten out of control.  Years of yo-yo dieting, inconsistent exercising and poor eating habits led me to an unhealthy life. Before I knew it, I was 245lbs (5 feet tall) and not in the best shape. There I was, miserable and had no idea it had taken over my life. I had spent so much time trying to be the perfect mom, career driven, focused on my perfectionism at school, and in my new role as a grandma. 
 

Now, here I am, done with the excuses of how I got where I am and moving forward to better myself. I started my new fitness journey a year ago.  The journey has been anything but easy. Successfully losing and average of a pound per week. Still began to notice some health issues that weren't quite going away with exercise alone. In November of 2021, here is where my story took the most dramatic turn and my true transition begins...

I hope my story reaches and inspires you.  I have come so far in my weight/fat loss journey yet have so far to go... weighing 54 lbs. less than I did this time last year, I feel absolutely amazing.
I will always be a work IN PROGRESS...  

As the proud owner of my own small business, In Progress, LLC... and owner of my In Progress, LLC Store, I am honored and humbled to announce the opening of my newest store, Pd's Dream Boutique.  I have dreamed about opening this store for a very long time and am so grateful I finally have the opportunity to do so with the ongoing support of my Beautiful 6 Pack.
